Museum visit in times of Corona

It’s worth a visit!

Michaela Reinfeld

Our social and cultural life is put on ice, contact restrictions, travel warnings, closed restaurants, cinemas, and museums restrict our everyday life. To make this difficult time easier for us, the GEO magazine has made a list of 9 world-famous museums that offer virtual museum visits. The virtual tours were created by Google Arts & Culture in collaboration with almost 2000 galleries and museums worldwide.

In cooperation with the British Museum in London, the Museum of the World was created as one of the most elaborate projects by Google Arts & Culture. A virtual tour of the British Museum is also possible. Further virtual tours are available from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, the Museo Frida Kahlo in Mexico City, the Museum Albertina in Vienna, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul, the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum in Japan and the Deutsches Museum in Munich. It’s worth a visit!
