Public Conference on Illicit Trafficking of Cultural Heritage (Sept. 21st, 6 to 7 pm CET)

In the framework of the European Heritage Days, the NETCHER project will organize a public conference to raise awareness of the illicit trafficking of cultural heritage, and how all citizens can play their role in protecting it.

This event is targeted towards the general public and the objective is to raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding our heritage. The NETCHER project will demonstrate how citizens can play an important role in the protection of cultural goods and so help the overall fight against the looting and trafficking of cultural goods.

During a lively and informative session NETCHER experts will share experiences and testimonials, and the whole experience will be enhanced with the participation of Charlie Danger, a famous YouTuber, who will help bring the whole topic to life and complement the testimonials with dynamic multi-media!

Charlie Danger will animate the sessions and there will be speakers from key NETCHER themes including archaeology, law enforcement, cultural heritage…
