Netcher worldwide state of play: Illicit trafficking of cultural heritage

28 & 29  May 2019, Frankfurt-a-Main, Germany

The Deutsches Archäologisches Institut is holding the first decisive event of the Netcher project at the Römisch-Germanische Kommission in Frankfurt-am-Main on 28 and 29 May 2019. The 6 thematic workshops, led by the DAI, CNRS and ENSP, are meant to draw a state of play about illicit trafficking and looting and the way the professional communities are facing them.

  3. Preservation and reconstruction
  4. Return and restitution
  5. Traffic channels and actors
  6. Operational and legal interventions

By collecting experts’ advice on each theme, these workshops will allow to draw a relevant conclusion about gaps and trends.
