In the framework of H2020 NETCHER Project, Ca’ Foscari University and the Center for Cultural Heritage Technology-IIT have developed a free MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) to provide the basics about Cultural Heritage crime and the main tools, both legislative and operational, to counter such phenomenon.
The online course is free and open to participants around the world who are actively interested and engaged in the protection of our Cultural Heritage at different levels.
From March 1st, for four weeks, our MOOC will delve into this complex topic; each week will be dedicated to a different subject:
- Legislation & Law Enforcement Agencies (01-07/03)
- The Art Market (08-14/03)
- Cultural Heritage Crimes (15-21/03)
- Tools and Ethics (22-28/03)
The course is provided through the EduOpen open-source platform, one of the leading providers of open online learning. With a user-friendly and innovative interface, our course offers an engaging learning experience without geographical limitations, enabling participants to enjoy being part of a global network of experts and committed Cultural Heritage defenders.
